D’banj has been announced as the ‘Best African Act’ for the forthcoming MTV Europe Music Awards. He will now go on to contend with other music artistes India’s Alobo Naga & the Band and Ahmed Soultan from the Middle East for the chance to represent the region in the Worldwide Act category.
