Veteran Nollywood director, Zeb Ejiro is planning a return to Nigerian television with a new TV drama series titled ‘Classique’.
The director/producer who is responsible for hit soap operas like ‘Ripples’ and ‘Fortunes’ has often complained about the almost non-existent quality soaps on local television in recent times. Now, it seems he’s ready to do something about it.
NET gathered that the new series, revolves around three young graduates who decided to jointly set up a company, thereby experiencing the challenges and politics of the corporate world.
In a telephone conversation, Zeb Ejiro who seemed excited about the new soap told NET, ‘Classique will be the biggest thing to hit Nigerian television and I can tell you that it will be more exciting and entertaining than Tinsel’.
The new soap will feature stars, established and up-coming, some of which are, Uche Iwuji, Mary Eboka, Lawrence Onuzulike in the lead, while Kate Henshaw, Fred Amata, Segun Arinze, Emeka Ossai and Zack Orji will make regular appearances.
