Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez could be facing jail time after being arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified. He was banned from driving for 6 months in January but was arrested last week near his home driving.

He was later released on bail.

He was released on bail because there was no interpreter at the Macclesfield Police Station.

Carlos Tevez will be returning to the police station this week. If found guilty of driving while disqualified, Tevez faces a six-month custodial sentence and a fine of £5,000. We’re told that Courts also consider anti-social behaviour orders and community service.
